Paige grew up on acreage in rural Colorado. At the age of 12, she begged he parents for permission to paint a "tiny" mural of Pikes Peak on her bedroom wall. By the time she left for college that tiny mural covered all four walls, the closet, and would have crept on down the hall had her parents agreed.
In 2003, Paige launched her decorative painting company COLOR Outside the Lines. She was privileged to work with designers in California, Colorado, Chicago and the Carolinas. In making Beaufort her forever-home, she brings her passion for texture, pattern and design to homes of the Lowcountry.
In 2023. Paige recreated herself as a studio artist, applying the knowledge and experience garnered from two decades of working on walls. In what's become her signature medium. she crafts paper sculptures that defy the confines of a frame. She is challenged by the construction of each piece; how to fuse grace and movement with structural integrity. And with her muralist background in walls, Paige is most comfortable with a scale that is larger than life.
In her community, Paige jumps at the opportunity to "talk art" in official capacities, at senior centers and local schools, but most enjoys it when someone pauses at her studio door. This often morphs into impromptu art lessons, ponderous conversations about the Master Artist Himself, and friendships with creative souls of every age.
You can find Paige in person at The King Street Art Center at 1407 King Street in Beaufort, SC. and view her sculpture work at The Thibault Gallery at 815 Bay Street Beaufort, SC or online at www.thibaultgallery.com
