This map was all about hidden images. The child's name was spelled out in the palm fronds, flames from the volcano created a lions face, tiny bugs and birds and spiders were hidden away here and there. The application of distressed plaster further enhanced this mural. Animal imprints and tracks were pressed into the plaster as it dried, to create the look of fossils.
